Technical Data

  • Measurement of
    alternating electric fields
  • Probe geometry according to
    MPR2/TCO Regulation
  • Frequency range 16 Hz - 100 kHz
  • Range of measurement
    up to 2000 V/m
  • Resolution 0,1 V/m
  • To be connected to the
    field meter FM6

Available as an alternative to the compact multi-purpose measuring probe of the field meter FM6, the electric field probe EFS6 enables a cost-efficient and precise potential-related measuring of low-frequency alternating electric fields with a probe geometry complying with the MPR/TCO standard.
The large sensor surface of EFS6 creates a homogenous field situation, and falsifying spatial effects, like for example the position of the person who carries out the measurement or the position of a stand, on the result of the measurement are minimised in that way. The sensor geometry and the calibration of EFS6 comply with the TCO regulation; the field meter FM6, as a display device, also disposes of the effective value rectification of the measuring signal that is requested according to the standards.
The reference potential that is necessary for measurements carried out with EFS6 can be generated easily and comfortably, as with FM6: EFS6 can take over the potential of the person who carries out the measurement via the handle or be grounded via the earthing cable of FM6 for exact measurements.
